Draft. This policy is a working outline for counsel to review and complete before Dovelumen opens. It is not in force.

Who is responsible

For the studios that subscribe, and for this website, Stacklumen LLC decides how information is used. For the information a studio keeps about its own clients and projects, the studio decides, and Stacklumen processes it on the studio’s behalf.

Early access

If you join early access we keep your name, email, practice and what you tell us, to contact you about Dovelumen. We don’t keep your IP address with it. Ask us and we’ll delete it.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email address and sign-in records, through our identity provider.
  • Studio content: clients, projects, documents, messages and files that a studio and its clients put in.
  • Billing details: the studio’s plan, seats and invoices. Card and bank details stay with Stripe.
  • Usage: pages viewed and actions taken in the app, to run and secure it.

How we use it

To provide and secure Dovelumen, to bill studios, to answer support requests, and to tell studios about changes to the service. We do not sell personal information or use studio content to advertise.

Portal activity

When a studio turns on client activity insights, the portal records what a client opens and decides (for example, that a proposal was viewed) so the studio can follow up. Clients are told this in the portal. Studio staff and studio previews are never recorded as client activity.

Service providers

[Counsel: list of subprocessors (hosting, database, identity, payments, email), their locations and transfer safeguards.]

Retention

Studio content is kept while the studio subscribes and for [period] after it cancels, then deleted. Detailed portal activity is kept for [period] and summarised after that.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information. A studio’s clients should contact the studio first; we will help the studio respond. [Counsel: jurisdiction-specific rights.]
