From the brief to the reveal. Without a spreadsheet in sight.
Each piece is entered once and follows itself through the project: proposed, approved, ordered, received, installed, invoiced.
- Proposals and selectionsA schedule of furniture, fixtures and equipment with trade cost, markup and client price. The client sees the piece, the finish and their price; trade cost and vendor never leave the studio. Approval and the deposit come back together.
- Procurement and purchase ordersApproved pieces become orders grouped by vendor, numbered when sent, and received line by line. Expected dates flow to the client as plain stages: ordered, on its way, delivered, installed.
- PhasesDiscovery to reveal, with dates, the work in each, and a timeline the client can read. The phase is the first thing on their portal.
- Mood boardsImages, pieces and notes on a canvas, shared with the client when it’s ready and approved as a whole or piece by piece.
- AgreementsDesign services, procurement disclosure and photo release as templates with merge fields, frozen and fingerprinted when sent, signed typed or drawn, countersigned if you like.
- The room-by-room briefThe client’s welcome asks about the household, each room (keep, replace, unsure; what isn’t working), their taste and their timing, and the answers arrive as rooms on the project.
- Invoices and paymentsDesign fees, retainers, procurement deposits, time and reimbursables, paid by card or bank transfer into your own Stripe account.
- Time, calendar and tasksHours against a project and phase, site visits and installs on a calendar feed, and what each person owes this week.
Trade pricing stays yours. Clients see their price.
Net cost, vendor, markup and freight live on the studio’s side of each item. Proposals, invoices and the portal show the client price and the piece, never the margin.
